But if you have decent beans and a capable grinder and your shots are still inconsistent — sour one day, bitter the next — this tool removes one of the variables causing it. The mechanism
Clumps are why your espresso channels.
Grinders leave dense clumps. Water tunnels around them — sour and bitter in the same cup. 0.35 mm needles rake the full depth of the bed and erase them.
